In return, we are rewarded for doing our best and enjoy a warm, family-like atmosphere in which to work. Friendship Village of Dublin is proud to announce that, for second year in a row, we have been selected as a Top Workplace in Central Ohio. Columbus CEO and WBNS-10TV joined forces with WorkplaceDynamics to identify Top Workplaces from surveys completed by Friendship Village of Dublin associates last October.
Associates work very hard as a team to serve our residents. Leadership believes that we need to work as hard to enhance the work life of those associates who strive to enhance the quality of life of older adults, every day.
We are very proud to be designated as a Top Workplace 2014 and Top Workplace 2015. Thank you to all associates and residents who make Friendship Village of Dublin a great place to live AND work!
Do you love to hear the stories and dreams of those from an earlier generation? Do you love to see a smile appear when you speak to the elderly gentleman or take time to help the widow of so many years? Are you drawn to those who have experienced so much and who have so much wisdom to share?
Do you take the extra moment and make the extra effort to ensure someone is comfortable and safe? Are you considerate and caring when providing care or performing services for someone else?
Do you care about knowing all you can in order to improve your knowledge and skills? Are you interested in being the best at what you do? Do you have a keen interest in improving processes and procedures? Are you open to new ways of doing things?
Do you enjoy working with others who share your values and priorities? At FVD, residents are our focus, our priority … for each and every associate. We care about our associates who provide the care and services to our resident, too. We strive to make FVD a great place to live … and work!
"When I was about 17 years old, I had a dream of doing something that would help people. Another dream came along, and I had a family - the best thing that can happen in a person's life. So when I got my family raised, I decided it was time to reach for my other dream again. I was working two jobs, getting nowhere. I quit both jobs and asked God to lead me into the next part of my life. I took a leap of faith and, within two weeks, He led me to Friendship Village. I was hired February 2, 1998 and have been living out my dream ever since. I made a lot of friends and a lot of memories. It has been so fulfilling."
