Friendship Village of Dublin, a nonprofit five-star continuous care retirement community in central Ohio, seeks a new Charitable Giving Director. The director is a key member of the Leadership Team and is responsible to plan, promote, and lead charitable giving to support an organization-wide level of excellence in retirement living. The efforts by the Charitable Giving Director will support the health and well-being of residents, staff and the community.

The Staff Development Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of the orientation program and on-going educational programs for the licensed care associate team(s). What you’ll be doing:

  • Growing your career through our Grant Program!
  • Review menu process involved with the dietitian in reviewing menus for nutritional quality, portion requirements, serving sizes, and menu extensions for special diets.
  • Show what steps are necessary to ensure proper food and supply storage.Use good judgment and professionalism in plate presentation for all areas. Includes proper garnish, potion control, food quality and temperature.
  • Responsible for quality assurance including monitoring food temps. On an ongoing basis, proper rotation of stock to prevent spoilage and to prevent over preparation of food. Prepare items for the following day menu. Assist utility workers in the closing the kitchens.

What you’ll be Doing:

  • Clarifying and organizing all evening paperwork and posting next day’s production schedule.
  • Assisting the kitchen staff in all aspects of daily assignments, as required.
  • Ensuring that each plate leaving the kitchen meets high presentation standards, and is a quality product and is properly portioned.
  • Responsible for the direction of the kitchen in the absence of the Executive Chef.

Health and Wellness Navigator

What you’ll be doing:

The Health and Wellness Navigator is responsible for building relationships, solving problems and locating resources for residents transitioning throughout the continuum of care. The Health and Wellness Navigator will evaluate residents’ needs and assist them in accessing the available resources needed to ensure a seamless transition between appropriate levels of care offered at the community. The Health and Wellness Navigator will also assist residents in facilitating their wellness and healthcare needs while ensuring social integration into the community. Responsible for coordinating the programs designed to meet these needs and to develop future programs. The ultimate goal is to guide residents, family members and/or caregivers through successful health and wellness transitions in order to achieve the optimal level of wellbeing and appropriate level of care. The Health and Wellness Navigator will facilitate communication with all key resources and stakeholders.
