Now that our Flats and Riverstone apartments are nearing completion, we’ve begun work on other areas of campus. Our art studio remodel is underway along with some corridor work. Read about that and other exciting updates over the next two weeks!
The Flats:
Building 6772: Complete drywall and ceilings stairwells. Continue painting, setting cabinets, doors and trim and shower tile install. Continue hardwood flooring, sitework for paving and sidewalks, installing electric fixtures, countertop install and ceiling grid. Complete architectural metal panels and HVAC systems.
Building 6766: Complete drywall hang and finish stairwells. Continue painting, setting cabinets, doors and trim. Continue shower and floor tile install, continue installing electrical fixtures and architectural metal panels. Begin hardwood flooring.
Building 6758: Continue hanging and finishing drywall in the stairwells and corridors. Continue interior painting and architectural metal panels.
Building 6741: Continue hanging and finishing drywall in the stairwells and corridors. Continue interior painting and architectural metal panels.
Riverstone:
Continue metal stud framing, stone and brick veneer, interior MEP rough ins and air barrier. Continue drywall pre-rock and installing secondary wire to the building. Complete installing balcony doors.
PT/OT:
Waiting on Phase 2 start, anticipated start date of 7/31.
Bistro:
Begin painting, flooring, trim and ceiling.
River’s Edge Café:
Continue excavating for underground plumbing and installing pipe. Continue CMU up to 2nd floor bearing.
Signalization: Work will continue and pedestals will start to be installed after concrete work is completed.
Corridors Work:
Start prime painting on 4th floor, wood trim on 4th floor and work on the 3rd floor
demo – start on 7/24.
Art Studio Remodel:
Continue metal stud wall framing and soffits. Start rough ins for mechanical, plumbing and electrical.
