“The decision to downsize is far more than just the sale of the ‘big’ house and a move to a smaller living space,” she said. “This decision is fraught with future-altering decisions and emotional turmoil, often made without the help of a deceased or incapacitated spouse and out-of-state children.”

Kathy Chiero heads the Kathy Chiero Group at Keller Williams Greater Columbus Realty. Licensed to sell real estate in 1996, she has sold over 1,000 homes in central Ohio.
Kathy began developing her moving skills while growing up in a military family that moved about every three years. As an adult, she has owned and sold half a dozen homes.
She is the founder of the “Downsize Columbus” seminars which have given thousands of central Ohio homeowners valuable tools to make “last move” decisions.
