DUBLIN, Ohio —Friendship Village of Dublin, central Ohio’s premier senior living community, celebrated the 24th year of its Scholarship Program by awarding 24 scholarships totaling $84,000 to associates and their children. This milestone continues the non-profit community’s tradition of supporting education and professional growth for associates and their families.

“Our Scholarship Program underscores our commitment to making Friendship Village of Dublin an exceptional place to work and to inspiring the next generation of leaders,” said COO Jessica Rieker. “We’re also proud to help graduating high school students from the Dublin, Fairbanks Local, Hilliard, Worthington, and Upper Arlington school districts pursue their career goals.”

The Scholarship Program began in 2001 with three $500 scholarships and has grown exponentially since then. In the past two years, 88 donors contributed to this 100% donor-funded initiative. Donors include community residents, associates, friends and family, Friendship Village of Dublin Board members, and business community members.

“We are grateful to the donors who made these scholarships possible,” Rieker said. “Their generosity helps us fulfill our mission to care for, engage, and inspire our community to reimagine and maximize quality of life at every age.”

This year’s scholarship recipients include 15 associates, six children of associates, and four associate awardees with parents working in the community. Thirteen recipients are 2024 graduates from Dublin City Schools. Two graduated each from Hilliard City and Worthington Schools.
