The residents at Friendship Village of Dublin had another great Adventure Club outing, this time a canoeing trip with Trapper John’s Canoe Livery. After a successful first Adventure Club outing to go rock climbing, these daring residents were ready to take on another fun challenge!
Whether they chose to canoe or kayak, all 13 residents were buzzing with excitement as soon as the day started. The residents started their 6-mile trek strong with only a few mishaps and tip-overs during the three-hour journey. Throughout the trip, residents were sharing jokes and stories as they bonded on Big Darby Creek.
After everyone made it back to shore safely, some dryer than others, the adventure continued with a picnic lunch nearby.
The residents at Friendship Village of Dublin are always up for a new, exciting challenge. The next Adventure Club outing will be a trip to Highbanks Metro Park for fishing, hiking and archery.
